In A BLANKET QUITE RARE, a boy receives a special hand-knitted blanket which he treasures, and which comforts him through a terrible storm. When the storm clears, the world seems different, and he wonders if the blanket has magically changed everything around him.
A Blanket Quite Rare was enjoyed by children throughout Central Florida at library story times, original art installations, as part of the special needs curriculum at The Center for Contemporary Dance in Orlando, Florida as well as with a program written for classroom use which corresponds to the Florida State Standards / Common Core Curriculum.
